I'm currently in my 4th year as a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. Before Austin I was an undergrad, then a masters student in the philosophy department at the University of St Andrews. I work on issues in the intersection of epistemology and the philosophy of language. My principal research topic is the nature and epistemology of assertion, though much of my recent work has touched on epistemic closure principles.
