I'm currently in my 3rd year as a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin. Before Austin I was an undergrad, then a masters student in the philosophy department at the University of St Andrews. I work on issues in the intersection of epistemology and the philosophy of language. My principle research topic is the relationship between assertion and knowledge, though my recent work has also touched on the distinction between knowledge-how and knowledge-that, and philosophical methodology.
